Relaxing Modern Bathroom

The aim of this project was to renovate the bathroom and improve its layout. The family wanted the bathroom to have better functionality while also incorporating features that would create a unique and luxurious experience. The Aptitude Design and Build team expanded the shower and installed a Bluetooth system with speakers and a touchpad for controlling music and movies. Additionally, we upgraded the shower to a steam shower, which is gaining popularity due to its health benefits and relaxation properties. Other modern features we incorporated include heated floors and backlit mirrors, which provide direct lighting for applying makeup.

One of Aptitude’s favorite parts of this project was the wood choice. Stained wood is making a comeback, but this project used cherry wood instead of oak. Cherry wood has a wider grain than oak and gives the bathroom a clean, modern look. We also really liked the splash of green color - it's a bold and fun choice. The marble stone sink and backsplash, along with the wall-mounted faucets, are unique choices that really bring the whole design together.
