A Renovation with a Top St. Louis Contractor

One such friend of Aptitude, Nick Mantia, actually went to high school with Aptitude owner Matt Mierek. Mantia recently came to Aptitude to request work on a renovation project for his previously unfinished basement. The result, as you can tell by the photos, is pretty stunning. Mantia, Mierek and Aptitude designer Jenna Siebert worked together to come up with the modern, elegant aesthetic, achieved with a sleek bar top, pale-colored stone and two tones of wood for the floor and walls.

Mantia was thrilled with the result, which he says enriched the ranch home he shares with his wife and two young children in the Wentzville/Defiance area of Missouri, just outside of St. Louis. We spoke with Mantia about his experience working with Aptitude, for the best St. Louis home remodel possible.
