Kitchen Remodel To Sell Home

When the Eagon’s decided to hire Aptitude they had two goals: replace the flooring and prepare the house to be sold in a year or two. As the retiring couple collaborated with Aptitude they realized they really needed to lighten up the entire kitchen, so they decided to get new cabinets in addition to new floors. In this particular remodel nothing had to be relocated so it was all about updating the dark woods with lighter, brighter colors. The only major change to the kitchen was removing the desk that they never used and replacing it with a wine fridge.  Because the couple wants to move in the next couple of years they wanted a kitchen that would appeal to a lot of people. Some of our favorite details about this project are the large format tile that is two different sizes and the choice of black splash tiles that give some texture to the room.
