Money Saving Solutions for Kitchen Makeover
The homeowners for this project wanted to update the look of their kitchen and add a coffee bar area, but they had a lot of cabinets and didn’t have the budget to replace all of the cabinetry. We were able to brainstorm ways to repurpose the old, dark cabinets without having to replace them. We removed some of the cabinets, rearranged others, added new knobs and painted the cabinets a different color and were able to save them tens of thousands of dollars while still delivering the new look the homeowners wanted. We also replaced their dark counter tops with real granite that has unique graining. The homeowners were excited that we were able to add a coffee bar and a walk-in pantry all within their budget. A couple of our favorite features were theBrazilian cherry floors that replaced their dark floors and the hood range that we painted a powdered black to really make it pop.
