Basement and Kitchen Collaboration

The Reed family came to Aptitude Design and Build with completed architectural plans and a clear vision for an open concept basement that included a bar, wine room, game area and gym. Additionally, Aptitude was hired to make some updates to the kitchen which included changing the cabinets and expanding the island. At the start of the project, the basement was an unfinished blank canvas. The finished basement is now a perfect place to spend time as a family or entertain guests and the kitchen is updated. One of Aptitude’s favorite parts of this project was the wine room in the basement that is temperature and humidity controlled with custom cabinetry for wine storage. This project is a great example of how Aptitude can also work with a clients design plans to make their vision a reality.
